2017 ABCup Schedule of events (revised)

 

Wednesday 17th May

 

from 12:00 - optional practice sailing

19:00 - Welcome drinks at the Hotel.. 

 

 

Thursday  18th May

 

09:30 -  Briefing and introduction to the race committee (at the Hotel), distribution of lunch packs

11:00 - Boat presentation and hand-over (at the Chiavari Marina) 

12:00 - Start of practice race

13:00 - 1rst official race (Windward Leeward) – 2^nd and 3rd to follow.

 

19:00 - Informal gathering and de-briefing of sailing teams at the marina.

20:00 – Welcome drinks, on shore games and regatta dinner in Sestri Levante.

 

Friday  19th May

 

13:00 – Briefing, presentation of the day’s events, distribution of lunch packs.

14:00 - (approx) Start of the 1st race of the day – 4 races to follow  (Windward Leeward) .

 

19:30 -  de-briefing, regatta drinks and tapas in Chiavari central old district (Botega Nazionale).

21:00 - Free Evening .

 

Saturday  20th June

 

09:30 - Briefing and presentation of the day’s events, distribution of lunch packs.

 10:30 - Start of the 1st race of the day – 2 races to follow (passage races to Portofino)).

17:00 – Boat check-out

 

20:00 – cocktail and prize giving dinner at the Hotel.
